Daniel Bronzite is
a produced screenwriter who began writing professionally in 1995. He was a reader for Miramax Films, has written numerous feature screenplays, treatments and shorts and directed two short films which have played the international festival circuit. His most notable feature to date is Long Time Dead the
supernatural horror for Working Title Films starring Lukas Haas, Black Knight's Marsha Thomason, the War Zone's
Lara Belmont, TV Dune's Alec Newman and EastEnders' Joe Absolom |
Universal released Long Time Dead in the UK on Jan 18th 2002 and distributed it
throughout the world. Daniel is currently developing several commercial feature projects including a
screenplay adaptation of Irvine Welsh's gritty and darkly comic novel Filth.
Daniel's background:
Daniel graduated from an East London art college in 1992 where he studied Graphic Design, and subsequently pursued a freelance career in Computer Graphics
until 1994 when he began writing professionally.
In 1995 he moved to New York for a few months to study at the New York Film Academy
where he produced his first short film Finders, Keepers...
Daniel has a keen interest in music and songwriting and produced a solo album in 2000. He also occasionally dabbles in journalism
and his article on rewriting Too Many Cooks? recently
featured in the US screenwriting magazine scr(i)pt.
